Short term, price targets for the top three S&P 500 holdings

The following are my price targets for the very short term for Microsoft, Apple, and Nvidia. First and foremost, this is not advice or recommendations. Do your own due diligence before buying or selling any investment. Your choices are yours, not mine.

It is obvious to most US citizens that the US economy has been suffering from high inflation, low wage growth, and slowing overall economic growth. The leaders of our country would have you believe that everything is sunflowers and puppy dogs. It’s not. Yesterday’s market demonstrated that just two companies who have been in the spotlight for the last two years are showing signs that their personal economies are slowing and not doing as well, as we have been led to believe by mainstream media. The following are my price target, support levels that I believe Apple, Microsoft and Nvidia will hit and bounce off of. But in most cases as we have seen in the past, this will hit a resistance level and then go down and retest these levels that I’m talking about. The economy slowing as it is chances are we will go through these levels at future dates. There is a chance today that some of the support levels could be breached and the stock prices can close lower at the end of the day. if that is the case, then secondary support levels would have to be respected.

Apple

Price Target: $208

Microsoft: $418

Nvidia: $110

S&P500: $540

as most of you know, nothing is certain when it comes to stock prices. Things could rapidly change in the coming days. one of those changes could be an aggressive move by the Federal Reserve to lower the Fed funds rate. This would spur on a short term rally, most likely in these dogs and many others. But remember the lowering of rates is an admittance that we are in a recession, and that the economy is rapidly slowing. Do you think chairman Powell wants that on his record? Or will he put his legacy and ego aside and make such a bold move? We will know on July 31 what he decides to do.
